USM Tuition Increases
Hattiesburg, Miss. - The University of Southern Mississippi approved to raise tuition Monday $165 per semester.
Vice president of finance and administration, Douglas Vinzant, said the increase is fairly low compared to other public universities.
Currently, in-state tuition is $7,334 a year and out-of-state tuition is $16,529.
But starting in fall of 2016, both in-state and out-of-state tuition will increase by $325.
