William Carey hosts animal art exhibit

HATTIESBURG, Miss - The William Carey University Sarah Ellen Gillespie Museum of Art is hosting "All Creatures Great and Small" exhibit until January 18.

It will hold a selection of painting from a variety of Mississippi artists featuring animals. The works were selected from the University's Gillespie collection, which entails over 600 pieces of art.

According to William Carey's website it is considered to be the most comprehensive collection of art executive to by Mississippians in the 20th century.

The museum will reopen January 10.
