Black History Month Program

Petal, Miss. - The city of Petal Parks and Recreation will have its annual Black History Month Program.

Josh Young, Petal and Parks assistant director said, "We love doing it at the City Park of Recreation. It's one of many of are different programs that we offer for the public or anyone who would like to come watch. We'll have a guest speaker, we'll have two different churches come in and sing. We're going to have something different this year. We're going to have a tribute. It's going to be honoring one of our former employees that we did have that worked with us that ended up passing away."

The program will happen on February 6 at 6 p.m. at the Civic Center.
