Lumberton's new mayor
Lumberton, Miss. - The Lumberton mayoral race is finally over.
The city's new mayoral is Kent Crider.
Crider defeated Jonathon Griffith with 201-193 votes.
Crider will resign as Ward I alderman and was sworn in Friday.
