"Coffee with Cops"

Hattiesburg, Miss. - The Hattiesburg Police Department had its monthly "Coffee with Cops" Tuesday morning at Java Werks.

Hattiesburg Police Officer, Lt. Jon Traxler said, "The best thing that really helped us is the atmosphere and all is much better for us to sit down and talk with people about issues in their neighborhood, whether that issue is a barking dog, speeder, stop sign issues, burglars, whatever it is. The atmosphere is much better for us to be able to sit down with them and talk to them."

This is the third month HPD has been doing this.

If interested, you can hang out and drink coffee with some Hattiesburg Police Officers on the second Tuesday of every month.
