JCJC's Hayes named MACJC's Pitcher of the Week

Ellisville, Miss. - It's softball season and the JCJC Lady Bobcats started off their season with a bang.

And one of the leaders for the Lady Bobcats, Rachel Hayes, has been named MACJC’s Pitcher of the Week.

The Ocean Springs sophomore helped the Lady Bobcats beat Pensacola State 10-2 last week. As well as helping her team beat Cowley College, 7-4 last week.

Hayes pitched 13 innings and only allowed 10 hits and three earned runs.

The Lady Bobcats will start the Gwen Magee Invitational on Friday against Illinois Central.
