Road reconstruction at Hattiesburg Industrial Park
FORREST COUNTY, Miss - The Forrest County Board of Supervisors are planning a road reconstruction on J.M Tatum Road at the Hattiesburg-Forrest County Industrial Park.
The roads has been damaged from heavy trucks that import and export items into the county.
Board of Supervisor, Roderick Woullard says, “When you bring in your industrial partners and they are considering where they are going to land infrastructures, it is one of the most important things. If you have bad infrastructure they really don’t feel like you have a commitment to your Industrial Park.”
Woullard says the state aid is receiving $750,000 and the project will begin as soon as engineers finish up their finals costs.
The road reconstruction can potentially start in 30 days and take only 2 weeks to fix, he says.
