HATTIESBURG, Miss - The JROTC program at Hattiesburg High School sponsored a blood drive due to the low supply of blood.
Cadet Tyrec Sharfner says, "We want to help people get involved with the community even though they cannot really offer money."
United Blood Services say they are experiencing an increase need for Type O negative red cells and Type AB plasma donations.

Donator Leterrein Myers says, "I want to help other people that need red blood cells, I want people to do the same for me if I need blood."
Seniors that donated will receive a red cord for graduation.
