Wayne county sheriff honors CEO of Sanderson Farms

WAYNE COUNTY, Miss - The chairman of the Board and CEO of Sanderon Farms, Joe F. Sanderson was honored by Wayne County sheriff Jody Ashley.

Sanderson was given an honorary sheriff's badge by Ashley.

Ashley said, "The tradition is reserved for people who serve the community with distinction."

The badge is given to private citizens who have performed a noteworthy accolade for someone or have done something that benefits the community.
