One Forrest Co. Deputy is indicted for tax evasion

Forrest County, Miss. - A Forrest County Chief Deputy has been indicted.

Reports said that Deputy Charles Bolton and his wife, Linda Bolton face federal charges for felony tax evasion.

The indictment said they attempted to avoid the assessment of their income tax by cashing several thousands of dollars in checks from their liquor store and restaurant they owned from 2009-2013.

This is still a developing story.
