South Jones Elementary competes in a national competition

Ellisville, Miss. - One local elementary will participate in a national competition.

South Jones Elementary School has been named one of 15 national finalists to be involved in the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow contest.

This is a $2 million STEM competition that challenges faculty members and students to implement a solution that will benefit local community problems.

Five grand prize winners will be given $120,000 worth of technology and be honored in Washington D.C. next month.
