UPDATE: School bus hits pedestrian on I-59 near Moselle

JONES COUNTY, Miss - A special needs school bus hit a pedestrian early Wednesday morning on the I-59 overpass at exit 80 to Moselle.
According to the bus driver, 36, Duane Taylor, walked into traffic and Taylor hit the mirror of the bus which left him with a severe laceration behind his head.
When a deputy arrived on scene they found Taylor lying on the ground. In Taylor's possession was 15 grams of crystal meth and drug paraphernalia.
There were no passengers on the bus at the time of the accident, nor was the bus driver injured.
Just prior to the time of the accident, Taylor was involved in an abandoned car wreck on mile marker 88. Taylor's identification was registered to the abandoned car.
Taylor was taken to Forrest General hospital and is currently on life support.
