HPD searching for hit-and-run suspect, victim in critical condition

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Hattiesburg Police Department is asking for the public's help searching for a hit-and-run suspect.

According to Lieutenant Traxler, "The incident occurred Tuesday night around 10:55 pm on Highway 49 Southbound north of 31st Avenue."

The suspect is driving a blue over grey Ford F150 extended cab 2004 or older and has frontal damage.

Lt. Traxler said, "The male victim is in critical condition and sent to the local hospital."
