Mississippi Armed Forces museum to open soon

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - This Mississippi Armed Forces Museum at Camp Shelby is expected to reopen soon, with no exact date.

The museum has been close for about a year due to construction and new gallery renovations.

Museum Director, Chad Daniels, mentioned the museum has added 8,000 square feet for a total of 36,000 square foot.

The museum recently added a first series of a newly commissioned art by Mark Poole, a Mississippi Gulf Coast fine arts instructor.
