Former NFL standout, Deion Branch gets inducted into MCJC Sports Hall of Fame


Ellisville, Miss. - Former JCJC Bobcat and NFL standout wide receiver, Deion Branch is now a new member of the Mississippi Community and Junior College Sports Hall of Fame.

Branch played at JCJC from 1997-98 and was a part of the undefeated squad who won the MACJC Championship in 1998.

During Branch’s freshman year, he caught 37 passes for 369 yards, and scored five touchdowns. In his second year, Branch recorded 70 catches for 1,012 yards, and scored nine touchdowns.

Branch earned himself two rings with the Patriots from Super Bowl XXXVIII and Super Bowl XXXIX.

Branch recorded 518 receptions for 6,644 yards and scored 39 touchdowns throughout his NFL career.
