Southern Miss's Sandlin added to the NCBWA Stopper of the Year Award watch list

Hattiesburg, Miss. - Southern Miss's freshman phenom, Nick Sandlin has been added to the National College Baseball Writers Association Midseason Stopper of the Year Award watch list.

The Evans, Ga. native has allowed nine runs off of 20 hits, and pitched 33 strikeouts in 30 innings.

Currently, Sandlin has a 3-2 record.

The NCBWA will announce the five finalists for the award on June 8.
