USM nursing students gain hands-on experience by volunteering at a local health clinic

Hattiesburg, Miss. - Students and faculty members of Southern Miss's College of Nursing have been making a positive impact throughout the Hattiesburg community.

These students and faculty members have been volunteering at the Fellowship Health Clinic.

Students are gaining hands-on experience at the clinic by assisting in the triage of patients and also working in the lab.
