Southern Miss's Thomas and Reed are now in the NFL

Hattiesburg, Miss. - The NFL Draft was packed with full of excitement over the weekend and Southern Miss fans can now celebrate that their two stars have been drafted.

Receiver, Mike Thomas was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in the sixth round.

The Tennessee Titans selected cornerback, Kalan Reed in the seventh round as this year's Mr. Irrelevant.

For those of you who don't know, players who are drafted with the very last pick in the draft are tagged with that name.

However, various scouts think that Reed was a steal in this year’s NFL Draft.
