'American Christians Taking a Stand' encourages prayer

LAMAR COUNTY, Miss. - Lamar county officials celebrated National Pray day at the Lamar county court house.

Members of the American Christians Taking a Stand (A.C.T.S) group spoke to encourage prayer in all institutions.

There goal is to make America 'one nation under God', member Scotty Shabert said, "We see that the country is in trouble and the reason for that is that we walked from His word and we just need to get closer and closer to God."

A.C.T.S mission is, "to wake up and unite Christians of America, to become vocal and active to the fullest of their God-given potential, in order to make American once again, One Nation Under God!"
