Thousands travel to 2016 Hangout Fest
GULF SHORES, AL. - The 2016 Hangout Festival was a great turnout this year. The Hangout Music Festival is an annual 3 day music concert held at the public beaches in Gulf Shores.
Thousand of people from all over the world attended the 3 day concert.
Kramer Hall, 22, and Nicole French, 24, of Kansas City agreed it was a time to set aside work and politics for the weekend.
French said, "It's epic there is so much high energy, everybody is happy to be here from different states, different countries, we met a lot of different people."
Hall added, "Everybody is really nice and so kind." Hall mentioned he was disappointed main headliner, Calvin Harris, canceled his Saturday show.
According to various reports Harris was involved in a severe car accident.
However, big headliners, such as, Ellie Goulding, Lenny Kravitz, and the Weeknd still played for the Hangout.
