A mother and two of her daughters arrested for aggravated assault
LAUREL, Miss. - A Friday night party turned ugly in the early morning hours.
Police said a man was jumped by several people early Saturday morning.
The incident happened in the 600 Block of Leontyne Price Boulevard, which resulted in him having to go to the hospital.
Laurel Police Officer, Cpt. Tommy Cox said, "Upon arrival, they met with a male victim. He had been beaten and he is suffering from several stab wounds."
Police said the victim suffered non-life threatening injuries and has been released from South Central Regional Medical Center.
Cox said "we've determined that it would be appropriate to charge the four individuals, Marcus Dewayne Moss, Shelia Diane Norman, Shelia Ann Norman, and Timika R. Norman."
Police said Shelia Ann Norman is the mother of Timika and Shelia Diane.
All four suspects have been charged with aggravated assault.
Moss is behind bars on a $50,000 bond and each Norman has a $30,000 bond.
