USM's Lynch, Winston, and Robinson selected in this year's MLB Draft

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - A few Southern Miss baseball players can definitely say they've had a good weekend.

In this year's MLB Draft, three USM players were drafted.

First baseman, Tim Lynch was the first Golden Eagle to be drafted. Lynch was drafted in the ninth round to the New York Yankees.

Pitcher, Jake Winston was the second one to get drafted. Winston went to the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 17th round.

And catcher, Chuckie Robinson was drafted in the 21st round by the Houston Astros.
