FORREST COUNTY, Miss. - The Forrest County Agricultural High School District (FCAHS) is asking the Forrest County Board of Supervisors for a 4% increase in its millage, according to Board President David Hogan.

Hogan said during a board meeting on Tuesday the district business manager Stephen May requested a tax increase during a budget presentation.

The 4% increase would raise taxes on a $100,000 house by around $10. "I want to honor everyone's request, without increasing millage" said Hogan.
