One arrested in robbery and kidnapping, more suspects sought

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Spencer Adams of Hattiesburg was arrested today in connection of an armed robbery and kidnapping that occurred last Wednesday.

Lieutenant Branden McLemore said, "The victim was kidnapped at the Long Leaf Trace and is okay."

"The Hattiesburg Police Department is vigilante looking for any other leads that might lead to the arrest of two other individuals involved in the incident" said Lt. McLemore.

HPD said more information will be released at a later time.

The incident is pending further investigation.
