Routine traffic stop sends one man to jail

LAUREL, Miss. - A Tuesday night traffic stop sends one Laurel man to jail.

Laurel police say they arrested Kelvin Dean, 43, at the intersection of Palmer Avenue and Capital Street. Police found out that the ex-convict had possession of a firearm.

Dean faces one count of ex-con in possession of a firearm and his bond is set at $5,000.
