CAMP SHELBY, Miss. - The Sandersville and Seminary Police Departments trained at Camp Shelby this week to learn proper interviewing techniques.
The course is called Regional Training Drug Academy, where authorities learn proactive criminal control.
Training Coordinator Sergeant (Sgt.) Curtis Davis said, "The good thing about it, is it gives them to the tools they need to go conduct their business."
The training helps authorities differentiate immediate response quickly and ultimately combat drugs off the streets.
Sgt. Jim Williams with SPD said, "Any type of training and observation techniques that will help an officer on the street, we are all for."
Multiple law enforcement agencies from Louisiana and Alabama were present too.
