Laurel man shot, hospitalized

LAUREL, Miss. - A man was shot Wednesday night after Laurel Police asked the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Removal Operations (ERO) for assistance.
ICE spokesman, Bryan Cox said the officer instructed the suspect in both English and Spanish for him to stop.
The suspect then reached into his clothing and the officer shot him in the arm.
The suspect was transported to the hospital for medical treatment.
His condition is unknown.
