Laurel wins Blood Bowl
HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Blood Bowl last week was a community effort to help save lives.
People from all over the Pine Belt donated blood.
While the blood bowl is about fulfilling the need for blood, it is also a friendly competition.
Laurel took first place again this year with 96 units.
Hattiesburg came in second with 79 units.
Waynesboro got third place with 53 units.
Columbia took fourth place with 46 units.
Collins came in fifth with 34 units.
Wiggins finished in last place with 29 units.
