Police looking for bank robber suspect

HATTIESBURG, Miss.- A bank robbery happened Friday afternoon at Bancorp South on Broadway Drive.

Hattiesburg Police Officer, Lt. Jon Traxler said, "It's a white male with a baseball cap on. It's a Real True camouflage cap that's black on top, camouflage on the bill, and a blue colored shirt, advising he had a weapon, never displayed one."

Traxler said the robber demanded money, which the teller provided, and then he left the scene on a bicycle.

Traxler said “if there's anybody who may have seen anything around that time, we're asking them to call Hattieburg Police Department or Metro Crime Stoppers."
