LPD graduates 3 officers

LAUREL, Miss. - The Laurel Police Department graduated three of its officers Thursday from the Mississippi Law Enforcement Training Academy.

Officer Latifha Ruffin graduated second in academics.

Officer Jacob Weaver graduated third in academics and fourth overall.

Officer Brian Hancock graduated first in firearms and fifth overall.

The training program was 12 weeks long and over 90 cadets statewide graduated this academy.
