Teenage Mutant Ninja anti-bullying Turtles spotted in Hattiesburg
HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) have been spotted in Hattiesburg and they are in town for a good cause.
Xtreme Force is an anti-bullying campaign and they travel around the country showcasing a live show between good and bad guys.
Marketing and Promotions Director Theresa Williams said, "Basically we want kids to leave with respect for others, good attitude and actions, and making good choices in their behavior."
TMNT Leonardo said, "Always stay true to yourself, believe in yourself, no matter what kind of goals it is in your life."
Donatello, Leonardo, and the entire gang are world champion martial artists hoping to showcase a powerful message.
In a recent SAFE survey 77% of kids are verbally bullied in the United States.
During the live show the turtles discuss ways to prevent bullying, how to stand up against bullies, and how to be a kinder person to others.
"Chase your dreams, tell others, seek help, if we fight together as a group against bullying it will be stopped" said Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Donatello.
