Women's Expo, Katie Dixon

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Women's Expo took place Saturday at the Lake Terrace Convention Center.

Hundreds of people came to the Women’s Expo to explore and socialize.

The expo also included MasterChef contestant, Katie Dixon.

Dixon said "it's been absolutely amazing. It brings a smile to my face. It's a humbling experience to know that I'm looked up to by so many. It's such a joyful experience for me to be able to share what I love to do with the residence of Hattiesburg and say a thank you back to the Hattiesburg residence and the surrounding area just for supporting me on this venture and on my journey.”

"It's just a delight to be able to help children, and youth, and adults see that you can find a balance in life. Even through the mistakes and hard times in life, you can always come out a stronger person," said Dixon.
