New Orleans man, arrested in Wayne County

Wayne County, Miss. - A wanted fugitive from New Orleans was arrested Thursday in Wayne County.

Wayne County Chief Deputy, Mike Mozingo said the department and the US Marshals teamed up and arrested Aston Davis, 21, in a trailer on 144 Jones Walker Luke Road without incident.

Davis was wanted for attempted murder in connection to a shooting at a New Orleans park earlier this week.

He is now in Wayne County Jail awaiting extradition.
