Nick Mullens reaction, Jalen Richard's first NFL TD

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Former Southern Miss running back, Jalen Richard made his NFL regular season debut with the Oakland Raiders Sunday afternoon and didn't disappoint.

Richard's first carry of the night against the New Orleans Saints was a 75-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.

Southern Miss quarterback, Nick Mullens said, "I was so excited. I was sitting on my couch watching TV and man I was screaming, jumping up and down, like 'I know that guy.' But it's awesome to see guys you really care about do big things for sure."

"He certainty made his statement at Southern Miss and now he's doing it in the NFL. You earn things through hard work and he's a true testament to that," said Mullens.

Richard had three carries for 84 yards in the Saints game.

His next game will be at home Sunday afternoon against the Atlanta Falcons.
