Suspects' employer releases statement on retired teacher's murder

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The death of Ann Georgian is still quite a shock for the Hattiesburg community. One employer of the two suspects, Pamela Hamilton released a statement.

Hamilton worked for the ARC of Southeast Mississippi and was arrested Wednesday in connection to Georgian's death.

The ARC stated:

"Pam Hamilton has been a wonderful supporter and friend to The ARC for many years. Our hearts break for her and her family during this tragic time. Hattiesburg is blessed to be able to provide a loving environment for special needs citizens and will continue to provide a second home to all of the children and adults we serve."

Georgian's body was found early September in a wooded area behind the Hattiesburg Public School District office.

Her bother, Gus Georgian, was also arrested in connection to Georgian's death Tuesday night.

Lieutenant Jon Traxler with the Hattiesburg Police Department said, "The investigation is ongoing and more arrests could occur."

The police department is currently waiting on autopsy results.
