USM vs. Troy, kids get in free

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Golden Eagles take on Troy Saturday and the athletic department has big things planned for that night.

Senior Associate Athletic Director, Brent Jones said, "'All South Band Day.' We have lots of different high schools coming out, almost 400-500 will be participating. They'll be on the field at halftime. We also have 'Letterman Day' as well as our tailgate going on. We're going to have almost 500 letter winners come back on campus. We'll represent them and present them at halftime. 'M Club' Hall of Fame, we have nine great Golden Eagles going in. So it's going to be a great, great day that we have going on. But one of the special things is it's 'Take a Kid to the Game for Free Day.’"

Jones said one purchase of an adult ticket will get a kid into the game for free.

Kickoff is Saturday at 6 p.m.
