Coach Dawson, Bradley speak about moving on, being better

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - This week is the beginning of conference play for the Golden Eagles.

The coaches and players are ready to move on from Troy.

Offensive coordinator, Shannon Dawson said, "Ultimately, he's (Nick Mullens) got to trust the reads, trust the progression. The two picks he threw Saturday, one was just a bad throw. I mean we just got to keep doing what we're doing. It's a process."

Nose tackle, Dylan Bradley said, "For myself, I'm angry. I'm kind of upset about the performance we put on the field. I really want to go out this week and dominate in all phases: special teams, offense, and defense. And I know pretty much everyone on the team feels the way I feel."

The Golden Eagles will have a shot at redemption on the road Saturday against UTEP.

Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
