LPD hosts child safety seat inspections

LAUREL, Miss. - The Laurel Police Department in partnership with Laurel Ford and the Mississippi State Department of Health Office of Preventive Health will be offering car seat inspections at Laurel Ford Sep 24.
The event is part of National Seat Check Saturday that will include lessons on how to choose the correct car seat and install them correctly.
Sergeant Shannon Caraway will be speak to parents and caregivers on the importance of correct car seat usage.
The event is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
