JCJC's Ross, Goalkeeper of the Week

ELLISVILLE, Miss. - Jones County Junior College’s Darren Ross has been named the MACJC Men’s Goalkeeper of the Week.

Ross was credited with seven saves in the Bobcats’ crucial 3-1 South Division victory over Pearl River. He then had eight saves in JCJC’s 2-0 shutout over Andrew College (Georgia). He played all 180 minutes last week.

Ross is a freshman from Belfast, Northern Ireland, and has helped the Bobcats to four consecutive victories.

JCJC, 4-3, visits Itawamba for a 4 p.m. match on Wednesday. The Bobcats host East Central at 7 p.m. on Friday.
