Fatal car crash, Lamar Co.

LAMAR COUNTY, Miss. - One Lamar County man was involved in a fatal motor crash Thursday night.

Brent Barfield, Mississippi Highway Patrol public information officer said, they received notification that a two vehicle crash happened at 11:19 p.m. at White Chapel on Highway 11.

Barfield said Kristian Morris, 41, was driving a Harley Davidson and collided with another vehicle. Officials arrived on scene and transported Morris to Forrest General Hospital.

Morris was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The investigation is ongoing.
