John Schneider, Cineflix

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Monday was the first day of this year's Cineflix.

Actor and filmmaker, John Schneider has several films he is showcasing at the Grand Theater and he is excited to be sharing this experience with the people of Hattiesburg.

"As a filmmaker, I love to see people cry. But really the hardest thing to make the audience do is laugh. If you have a film that makes an audience laugh, it gets that kind of response from them. That's what I look forward to most," said Schneider.

Schneider said Cineflix will enable aspiring directors to connect with some of the filmmakers and have a chance to learn and grow.

Cineflix will be at the Grand Theater every day until Thursday.
