Hattiesburg Public School District's superintendent options

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Hattiesburg Public School District is in the process of finding out whether or not it will be looking for a new superintendent.
The school district currently has Dr. Robert Williams serving as the interim director.
Public relations coordinator, Jas N Smith said, "The board identified three options to securing long-term leadership to the district. They would re-evaluate the applicants for the last superintendent search. They would open an entirely new superintendent search and collect new applications. Or they would name Dr. Williams as the permanent superintendent for Hattiesburg Public Schools."
