Hope Clinic hosts 2nd annual fundraiser

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Hope Clinic of Hattiesburg, formerly known as Pregnancy Choices held its 2nd Annual Fundraiser at Southern Oaks Thursday night.

The non-profit organization's goal is to raise $100,000 to continue to spread its mission of hope and love for young adults in the Pine Belt.

It said it wants to provide an educated outlet for both females and males who come across unexpected pregnancies.

The money raised will go towards its the clinic, its outreach efforts, and an onsite Nurse Practitioner.

Keynote Speaker, Kama Tate, a former pro-choice advocate, now a redeemed pro-life advisor and educator said, “I think right now the opportunity for social media is so great because when women go it used to be they look at billboards, they might look at the phone book, if anyone still knows that what that is."

Hope Clinic's goal is to reach the youth population via social media. She continued, "They look at social media, they google, they look at Instagram and Facebook and that can become a resource for them.”
