Local baby shot, suffered non-life threatening injuries

MARION COUNTY, Miss. - The Marion County Sheriff's Office and the Department of Human Services are investigating how a baby was shot Wednesday night.

The child was taken into Marion General Hospital and is suffering from non-life threatening injuries.

Deputies said it was reported as an accidental shooting.
