Southern Miss players are hungry for a win
HATTIESBURG, Miss. - It's been a rocky season so far for Southern Miss fans, as well as for the team.
The Golden Eagles will host their last game of the regular season Friday against La-Tech and are ready to make this a statement game.
Punter, Tyler Sarrazin said, "I just feel like everybody is just hungry for a win. Everybody is just you know from the senior class that worked their way up to experience a winning season to now this season."
"At the end of the day, you got to look at who you are as a person and as a player, and I can honestly say that I've seen everybody is still fighting. It's awful to the fact that you know you can win ball games and you feel like they slip away. But then again, we still enjoy each other to the fullest."
"We always have faith. We'll never give up."
If the Golden Eagles win, they will be bowl eligible. Kickoff is at 3 p.m.
