Tori Bowie honored at Southern Miss vs. La-Tech game

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Mississippi native, and 3x Olympic medalist and 2x National Champion, Tori Bowie was honored at halftime during the Southern Miss vs. Louisiana Tech game for her major accomplishments.

The former Golden Eagle won Gold, Silver, and Bronze in this year's Olympics.

Southern Miss Athletics honored her by putting her name on Bell Track and Field Soccer Complex, as well as a replica design image of her.

Bowie also received an engraved watch and a proclamation from the City of Hattiesburg, declaring November 25 as "Tori Bowie Day."

Bowie said she was humbled and honored to experience the love and support from the community.
