GROUP DIRECTOR OF MARKETING AND PROMOTIONS

This is a very unique opportunity for the right person. Our company is the central hub for a group of 13 television stations and 4 radio stations in central and southeastern United States. Nine of those TV stations are Big Four network broadcast stations.

We are seeking an individual with a multitude of talents. They must have creative abilities to help oversee the production of outstanding on-air promo campaigns for our stations to share while also providing keen organizational skills and strategic vision for the long term success of each station and the company. At the top of the priority list is ensuring the development and expansion of the station brand in their respective markets. Abilities in management, people skills, promotions, marketing, digital media, social media, public relations, design, editing, and implementing strategy are among the overall talents required.

The successful candidate will be a roll up your sleeves and work beside, not above, the team. You will wear many hats and be expected to do many things in this capacity. Do not mistake this for an ivory tower position; we believe in hiring individuals that set the tone and example for the team to follow. People with positive attitudes and positive thinking usually deliver positive results. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate a successful track record of growing network affiliated stations in ratings, brand awareness and public perception.

Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years experience as a promotion manager at a big four network affiliated station or group. Experience as a group director of promotions would be preferred.
