One man arrested, stabbing incident

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - An altercation Sunday led to one man being arrested.

Hattiesburg Police said James Walker Jr. stabbed a man who happened to be related to him at the intersection of Hood Road and Gasaway Loop.

The victim was transported to Forrest General Hospital for life-threatening injuries, but is now in stable condition.

Walker is charged with domestic violence aggravated assault.

The investigation is ongoing.
