Pride Field is getting new turf

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -Southern Miss' Pride Field is being upgraded.
The university said Pride Field will receive field turf.
There will be two 80-yard fields that will be used for Rec sports and The Pride of Mississippi Marching Band. In addition, there will be a new drainage system and new fences.
The project will costs approximately $1.3 million.
Construction should be finished by this upcoming spring.
