HPD on the hunt for aggravated assault suspect

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Hattiesburg Police is on the hunt for one suspect.

Police said an altercation happened Wednesday afternoon outside of Mark 1 Apartments. During the altercation, Kadarius Nichols pulled out a weapon and shot the victim in the leg.

The victim was taken to the hospital and was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Nichols is wanted for aggravated assault.
